Recently, the Redmi Pad Pro keyboard was also found on the BIS certification website.
The Redmi Pad Pro keyboard has received BIS certification with the model number "24042KBD5G" and was authorized on April 10, 2024. Although the certification does not disclose the product name or any hardware specifications, it suggests that the Redmi Pad Pro is set to enter the Indian market. The model number "24042KBD5G" has been confirmed through its latest listing on the TDRA certification.
Additionally, there are reports indicating that Redmi plans to launch a 5G version of the Redmi Pad Pro. This information has been confirmed through its latest listing on the Bluetooth SIG certification, with the model number "24074RPD2C". Furthermore, global WiFi versions have been discovered on the Google Play console's list, with model numbers "2405CRPFDL" and "2405CRPFDG". The Google Play console's list also confirms that the device shares similar specifications with the Chinese version. It's worth noting that although this tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen2 processor, Redmi has chosen not to provide 5G data functionality. However, new reports have confirmed that not only is a 5G version on the way, but it will also support eSIM (limited to the 5G version). The new 5G version will have three model numbers: "24074RPD2C", "24074RPD2G", and "24074RPD2I", where C represents China, G represents global, and I represents India.
Xiaomi has not made any statements regarding the global release of the WiFi or 5G versions yet. However, as is customary, we may soon hear some announcements regarding the global market availability of the WiFi version, while the 5G version might initially launch in the Chinese market before a global release.
