On April 14th, we learned from the official source at Star Universe Star Era that their SUV model, the Star Era ET, will officially begin pre-sale tomorrow.
The official statement indicates that the vehicle will offer both "Super Pure Electric" and "Golden Extended Range" versions, claiming to peak in range and disrupt performance.
Reportedly, the car is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder engine, longitudinally mounted, with an engine power of 115 kilowatts and a thermal efficiency of over 44%.
One liter of fuel can generate 3.6 kWh of electricity, slightly higher than the ordinary extended-range version, making the Star Era ET the most fuel-efficient hybrid SUV currently available.
Meanwhile, the pure electric version of the Star Era ET will feature a dual-motor layout, with maximum power of 183 kW for the front motor and 230 kW for the rear, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.46 seconds.
The car debuts with CATL's Shenxing ultra-fast charging battery, capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just 24 minutes in extreme cold conditions of minus 20 degrees Celsius.
Looking at the exterior, both the extended-range version and the pure electric version maintain a similar basic design, featuring a minimalist style. The front face sports a closed grille with a continuous light strip, along with a split-type headlight design.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width, and height are 4955/1975/1698mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3000mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV.
At the rear, the new car features a continuous tail light design with a smoked finish. The roof boasts a sizable spoiler, while it appears to have a concealed rear wiper.
