Pulsestacks reported on April 26th that Rainbow launched its first mini PC product CMHN01 in China earlier this month, equipped with the Intel Core i5-12450H processor, with a starting price of 1559 yuan.
This is Rainbow's first mini PC. Despite its price of only 1559 yuan, the Intel Core i5-12450H processor is not very competitive compared to similar products released by other manufacturers this year.
In addition to this model, Colorful officials have confirmed to VideoCardz that they are developing systems based on the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and AMD Ryzen 7 8845H processors.
The Core Ultra 5 125H is Intel's latest "Meteor Lake" series product, featuring a 14-core (4P+8E+2LP) 18-thread configuration, with a maximum boost frequency of 4.5 GHz and a GPU equipped with 7 Xe cores.
Furthermore, the AMD R7 8845H also boasts an 8-core 16-thread configuration, with a maximum frequency of up to 5.1GHz and equipped with 12 RDNA3 CUs. Therefore, both of these upcoming models will offer sufficient performance for casual gaming. Stay tuned for more updates.
