On March 15th, it was revealed during tonight's CCTV 315 program that a purportedly "high-end business liquor" named "Listen to the Flowers" was being sold at exorbitant prices, with a standard edition priced at 5860 CNY and a premium edition at a staggering 58600 CNY.
Not only is this liquor outrageously priced, but it also claims miraculous effects. Sales personnel advertise it as having the ability to boost immunity, improve sleep, ensure male erectile function, regulate physiological disorders, and resist aging.
It turns out that the so-called miraculous effects touted by Tinghua Liquor's international patent haven't been recognized, and the cooling agent mentioned is not some high-tech substance but just the common peppermint extract we all know.
Less than a minute after being exposed by CCTV, the WeChat official account for Tinghua Liquor was shut down due to "excessive marketing and harassing user behavior."
At the same time, e-commerce platforms like Taobao and JD.com have swiftly removed "Tinghua Liquor" related products from their listings.
It's worth noting that Zhang Xuefeng, Chairman of Qinghai Spring and designer of Tinghua Liquor, mentioned in an interview that one day he dreamt of a figure resembling Laozi, who wrote a living word on his hand. This living word was composed of water and tongue, which served as the inspiration for the design and development of Tinghua Liquor.
Zhang Xuefeng even exclaimed, "Tinghua Liquor was not created by us; it is a great blessing from heaven bestowed upon drinkers."
