According to the report, the company achieved operating revenue of 62.295 billion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 33.69%; net profit was 5.537 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 122.93%; basic earnings per share were 6.88 yuan.
In 2023, the company's main business revenue was dominated by smartphones, reaching 57.348 billion yuan, marking a 34.88% year-on-year increase and accounting for 92.06% of the total operating income. The total shipments of smartphones amounted to approximately 194 million units.
Citing data from IDC, the report noted that in 2023, the company held a 14.0% share of the global smartphone market, securing the third position among global smartphone manufacturers. Within the global smartphone market, its share in the smartphone segment specifically stood at 8.1%, placing it fifth overall.
Transsion primarily engages in the design, research and development, production, sales, and brand operation of smart terminals with smartphones at its core.
Its main products include the TECNO, itel, and Infinix smartphone brands, covering both feature phones and smartphones. Sales are primarily concentrated in emerging markets worldwide, including Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Data indicates that Transsion held over 40% of the smartphone market share in Africa in 2023, securing the top position locally.
In the South Asian market, Transsion claimed over 40% of the smartphone market share in Pakistan, ranking first. In Bangladesh, it captured over 30% of the market share, also securing the top position. However, in India, Transsion's smartphone market share stood at 8.2%, placing it sixth in rankings.
