"Scientific feeding" has always been a subject of continuous exploration in the infant milk industry, and the definition of good formula milk has been evolving with technological advancements. Recently, the "Infant Comprehensive Nutrition Technology Seminar," organized by China Food Science and Technology Society and guided by the dairy enterprise Hiponokay, was held in Beijing. Scholars and experts including Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of China Food Science and Technology Society, Sun Baoguo, Secretary-General of China Nutrition Society, Han Junhua, and Zhang Yumei, Dean and Distinguished Professor of Peking University School of Public Health, interpreted "scientific feeding" from different perspectives.

Sun Baoguo stated that breast milk is the best food for infants and young children, serving as the material foundation for early-life nutrition. He encouraged leading companies in the industry to continuously research breast milk, ultimately serving children's nutrition and health. At the same time, he proposed encouraging closer strategic partnerships between companies and universities, and research institutions to build a benign development model integrating production, education, and research.

"The concept of comprehensive nutrition is not static," said Han Junhua, explaining the scientific basis behind the new national standards for infant formula powder in terms of energy, protein, vitamin A, vitamin D, choline, and others. She suggested that when breastfeeding fails, infant formula powder that meets national standards can be chosen, but it should increasingly align with modern health concepts and the latest scientific evidence. She stated that as research on breast milk deepens, the nutritional components and their levels will also undergo corresponding dynamic adjustments.

"What is scientific feeding? Comprehensive nutrition is the 'first principle' of scientific feeding," said Zhang Yumei. Scientific feeding ensures that all indicators of a child's growth and development are within the normal range. Scientific and comprehensive nutrition is the most important, and all infant formula powders registered according to the new national standards can meet the requirements of comprehensive nutrition. Blind pursuit of formula size and weight should be avoided, as it poses high health risks.

On the same day, experts organized by the China Food Science and Technology Society evaluated the "Hiponokay Induced Series Comprehensive Nutrition Formula Milk" applied by Hiponokay through a combination of offline and online methods. Experts unanimously agreed that the formula and technology of the product reached the international advanced level. During the meeting, Hiponokay also launched a "Hiponokay Comprehensive Advanced Nutrition Feeding Empirical Research Project" aimed at deepening the understanding and practice of scientific feeding for comprehensive nutrition in infants and young children.
