According to the official release, the third-generation Snapdragon 8s builds on the same CPU architecture as the third-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, featuring 1 super core with a CPU clock speed of up to 3.0GHz.
The processor boasts 4 performance cores clocked at up to 2.8GHz, alongside 3 efficiency cores with speeds up to 2.0GHz. Compared to competitors, the CPU performance of the third-generation Snapdragon 8s leads by over 20%.
But that's not all. The third-generation Snapdragon 8s inherits the same GPU architecture from the second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, boasting impressive gaming power efficiency. Compared to its competitors, the third-generation Snapdragon 8s leads the way in gaming scenarios with an energy efficiency that's over 15% better.
Additionally, Qualcomm's third-generation Snapdragon 8s boasts impressive AI capabilities. This chip supports a wide range of AI models, including large language models, and its AI-enhanced GPU promises a smooth, lag-free user experience.
