Regarding the question of whether he will continue to host smartphone launch events, Lei Jun said that if necessary, he can still be on stage to support, "But I still hope that Xiaomi is a stage where talents emerge. I think they speak very well."
According to data released by IDC, in the first quarter of 2024, Xiaomi's global smartphone shipments surged by 33.8%, ranking third, with a market share of 14.1%, only 3.2% behind Apple.
