On April 16th, news broke online revealing the registration information for the Lixiang C16.
This vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-full-size SUV, with a seating layout that can accommodate six people. It offers two power options: hybrid and all-electric.
In terms of appearance, the Lantu C16 adopts a familial design language similar to the C10, with continuous light strips on both the front and rear ends.
Measuring at 4915/1950/1770 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2825 millimeters, it stands as the largest model in the Lantu lineup to date.
The configuration includes roof-mounted lidar, binocular cameras, rear and tailgate privacy glass, with optional wheel sizes of 20 inches or 21 inches, available in black or silver.
In terms of power, the all-electric model is equipped with a drive motor provided by Jinhua Lingxuan Power Technology Co., Ltd., with a peak power of 215 kilowatts, and it comes with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. However, the range information has not been disclosed yet.
As for the range-extended model, it is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder range extender provided by Chongqing Xiaokang Power Co., Ltd., with the model being H15R and a maximum power of 70 kilowatts. The maximum power of the drive motor is 170 kilowatts, keeping the entire powertrain consistent with the Zeroun C10.
Regarding range, the Zeroun C16 range-extended version will be equipped with a 28.04 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing a pure electric range of 134 kilometers under comprehensive working conditions.
