On May 26th, it was announced that the Nezha L electric version mid-size SUV has officially started presale, with a starting price of 140,000 RMB.
The vehicle, based on the Shanhai platform, is equipped with a single motor, offering a range of 510 kilometers. It only takes 10 minutes to charge and add 400 kilometers to its range.
Currently, the cumulative orders for the NIO ES8 have exceeded 30,000 units. In response to potential delivery delays, NIO has promised that for users whose delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, they will provide a subsidy of 50 yuan per day starting from the 31st day, with a maximum limit of 3,000 yuan.
Additionally, NIO plans to conduct an OTA upgrade for the ES8 in June and launch a dedicated audio brand in July and August. The new car is expected to announce its price in late June, with deliveries starting in July.
In terms of appearance, both the pure electric and extended-range versions of the NIO ES8 maintain a consistent design. The front end features an X-shaped styling, unique headlight design, and a trapezoidal lower grille with chrome accents.
In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4770/1900/1660mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2810mm.
The vehicle features a streamlined waistline and concealed door handles on the side, along with "wind fire wheel" styled five-spoke wheels.
At the rear, it sports a family-style continuous taillight design, with a black lower bumper adding to the SUV's demeanor.
Inside, the Nezha L is equipped with two 15.6-inch large screens, including a central screen and a co-pilot screen, powered by the Qualcomm 8155P chip for a smooth audio-visual entertainment experience.
The interior boasts a dual-tone design, emphasizing material quality for a sleek style, offering two interior color schemes: Merlot Brown and Muse White.
In terms of configuration, the Nezha L features a 6.6L capacity independent compressor refrigerator, a small table board, a 10-way adjustable driver's seat, a 14-way adjustable passenger seat (both with SPA massage system), a NETA 720° surround sound system with 16 speakers, headrest speakers, DMS driver facial recognition, one-touch SPA mode, front row air-cooled wireless phone fast charging, and more. When the rear seats are folded down, the trunk space can expand from 583L to 1434L.
In terms of power, the Nezha L uses CTB battery body integration technology, equipped with CATL's Shenxing battery, offering a single-motor version.
The motor has a peak power of 170kW, maximum torque of 310N·m, uses lithium iron phosphate power batteries, achieves a maximum range of 510km under CLTC conditions, charges from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes, with a battery life of up to 800,000 kilometers, and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds.
