On April 21st, AITO Automotive released a promotional video today, heating up the anticipation for their upcoming Wanjie New M5, and officially announced the new color option for the car - Tahitian Grey.

According to their description, this color "draws inspiration from the rare Tahitian Grey Pearl", with a deep and understated hue, harboring endless secrets and charm.

In addition, other color options for the new car include "Metropolitan Red" and "Gleaming Black".

It is reported that the presale for the Wanjie New M5 started on April 17th, and within just 12 hours, the cumulative orders for the Wanjie New M5 have surpassed 10,000 units, successfully securing its status as a popular pre-order model.

According to the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving App, the configurations for the Wanjie New M5 have been simplified, with three models being offered: Wanjie New M5 Extended Range Max RS, Extended Range Max, and Pure Electric Max.

New additions include the Metropolitan Red and Tahitian Grey exterior colors, with the interior featuring an added Amber Brown option; RS models offer optional 20-inch RS Black Obsidian sport rims and RS Black Obsidian package.

All Max versions across the lineup come standard with the Huawei ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system, allowing entry-level users to experience Huawei's most powerful intelligent driving features.

For the RS version, there is an added front four-ball double-wishbone suspension, with expected upgrades and performance enhancements to the chassis and handling.

Previously, after the successful release of the Wanjie New M7, pre-orders exceeded 100,000 units at one point. With the arrival of the latest Wanjie New M5, there is also hope for a replication of the sales myth created by the Wanjie New M7. s_23e6f8f08400430bb1d241d9f1badfe3.jpg
