On April 14th, Intel officially unveiled the edge and embedded versions of its Arc A series discrete graphics cards, featuring up to six models and attracting numerous partners, offering a much broader range of products compared to gaming cards.
For instance, one standout model is the Arc A380E crafted by ADLink, with its remarkable features. With a thickness of only a single slot and a height equivalent to just half of a standard card, it resembles an ultra-slim blade card, adding a touch of charm to its functionality.
Due to its modest specifications, with only 8 Xe cores, and a power consumption of less than 50W, even lower than Intel's reference specification of 75W, it doesn't require external power supply, with cooling handled by just a small fan.
It features four mini DisplayPort output interfaces.
This card is tailored for edge AI applications, such as video walls, gaming consoles, and gaming machines, among others.
Advantech has also designed the Arc A380E, a mini ITX card shaped like a graphics card, equipped with a single fan. However, it requires dual slot space and features four full-size DisplayPort interfaces.
