April 12th report - Despite being on the market for several days, the buzz around the Xiaomi SU7 shows no signs of cooling down. Moreover, the Xiaomi SU7's outstanding performance has even garnered high praise from Porsche Taycan owners.
Recently, race car driver and automotive blogger Xie Xinze released a video featuring a Porsche Taycan owner's review of the Xiaomi SU7.
After test driving the SU7, the Taycan owner remarked that the SU7 bears some resemblance to his car and, considering the price, the SU7 is indeed quite a good car.
Apart from the Taycan's suspension and brand, which are better than some aspects of the Xiaomi SU7, other features may not match up to the SU7, such as space and infotainment system.
During a previous Xiaomi car launch event, Lei Jun introduced that the Xiaomi SU7 was initially developed with the Porsche Taycan as a benchmark, boasting comparable performance and handling.
In terms of power performance, the Xiaomi SU7 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, with impressive mid-range acceleration as well. It achieves 0-200 km/h acceleration in only 10.67 seconds and 60-100 km/h in 1.61 seconds, surpassing the Porsche Taycan comprehensively.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi SU7 boasts a top speed of 265 km/h, achieving a balance between acceleration and top speed performance.
