Intel's highly anticipated limited edition i9-14900KS, boasting a whopping 6.2GHz clock speed, is set to be officially unveiled on March 14th. Ahead of its launch, pakhtunov, who previously leaked the first spy shot of the processor, has once again taken the lead by delidding it.

Following the delidding process, he applied a superior liquid metal thermal interface material and conducted extensive testing, yielding quite remarkable results. s_e948dbb526994a18835ad81715eb2131.jpg Sure, I believe you're asking for "Open lid shot" in English. 17887dac-4b18-42ca-b37e-e2e8416ff4c5.jpg First Spy Shot

In the CineBench test, the default cooling temperature reaches 85°C with a power consumption of 376W. After switching to liquid metal, the temperature drops to 75°C, but power consumption remains high at 366W.

In the more intense Y-Cruncher test, the default cooling temperature spikes to 89°C, with a staggering power consumption of 432W!

Even with liquid metal, the temperature still hits 82°C, and power consumption remains at 409W, consistent with the earlier OCCT stress test.

The cooling system used in the test is the DeepCool Castle 360EX AIO liquid cooler, with the CPU's actual core frequency stabilizing at 5.9GHz. s_17441228d640499c8f11ccaac3abe2a2.png
