On March 24th, four major forums, namely the "Artificial Intelligence+" Academicians Forum, the Summit Forum on Mathematics and Data Science Frontiers, the Academic Forum on "New Chemistry, New Materials, New Ideas," and the Greater Bay Area International Forum on Cell and Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine, were held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK(SZ)). As part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations of CUHK(SZ), these forums brought together leading figures from academia in four key areas: artificial intelligence, mathematics, materials and chemistry, as well as cell and gene therapy and regenerative medicine. Over a hundred academicians gathered to discuss academic discipline construction and future development.

The "Artificial Intelligence+" Academicians Forum centered around the opportunities and challenges of "Artificial Intelligence+," covering topics such as what to add to AI, why add it, and how to add it. Discussions spanned AI education, the cultivation of knowledge systems, and the integration of academic and industry talents.

The Summit Forum on Mathematics and Data Science Frontiers featured over ten academicians including Ma Zhiming, Tian Gang, Yuan Yaxiang, as well as more than twenty heads of mathematics and data science departments, along with numerous domestic and international experts in the fields of mathematics and data science. During the roundtable session, experts shared valuable insights and experiences on key issues such as the construction of international research-oriented universities, trends in the development of mathematics and data science disciplines, innovation in talent training mechanisms, and strategic directions for research innovation.

The Academic Forum on "New Chemistry, New Materials, New Ideas" welcomed over thirty academicians and experts including Bai Chunli, Cheng Jinpei, and Gan Yong, aiming to promote the integration of chemistry and polymer materials in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with industry, academia, and research innovation.

The Greater Bay Area International Forum on Cell and Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine brought together outstanding domestic and international experts, clinical physician-scientists, educators, researchers, and medical professionals in the fields of cell, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine. It provided a comprehensive platform for sharing and introducing cutting-edge biomedical science and technology worldwide, focusing on altering or alleviating diseases at the forefront of tissue, cellular, and genetic levels, as well as in-depth analysis of clinical treatment approaches, mechanisms, and applications behind scientific and technological advancements. During the forum, the CUHK(SZ) School of Medicine signed a memorandum of cooperation with Weill Cornell Medicine, initiating comprehensive cooperation in education, scientific research, and talent cultivation to promote future collaboration and deepening.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of CUHK(SZ), and the collaboration of the four major forums has created a high-quality academic feast where experts and scholars shared cutting-edge theories and practices in their respective fields. These forums, part of the anniversary celebrations, will be followed by a series of academic activities including an academicians' summit, academic seminars, international conferences, and industry forums, continuously bringing new ideas, new perspectives, and new concepts. 66004785e4b03b5da6d0bb60.png "AI+" Academy Forum Organizers' Image 66004788e4b03b5da6d0bb62.png Mathematics and Data Science Frontier Summit 6600478be4b03b5da6d0bb64.png "New Chemistry, New Materials, New Ideas" Academic Forum, Hosted by the Organizers. 6600478fe4b03b5da6d0bb66.png The image is provided by the organizers of the Greater Bay Area International Forum on Cellular Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine.
