Oriental Pure Electric Rolls-Royce Rolls into Germany; Hongqi E-HS9 Goes on Sale: Price Comparable to BMW X7

On April 8th, according to reports from overseas media, the Hongqi large pure electric SUV model E-HS9 will enter the German market.

It is reported that the starting price of the 99kWh version of the car in Germany is 80,000 euros (approximately RMB 627,000), while the long-range 120kWh version starts at 102,995 euros (approximately RMB 807,000). Its front end features a closed-off waterfall-style grille flanked by split headlights on either side. At the center of the front fascia, there's a distinctive red LED light strip that enhances its recognizability when illuminated.

In terms of size, this vehicle is massive, measuring 5209/2010/1713mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3110mm. Its side profile exudes a commanding presence, offering two seating configurations: six-seater and seven-seater options. The Hongqi E-HS9 will be available in two models in Germany, with powertrain options similar to those of the domestic versions. It features front and rear dual motors, with a maximum system power of up to 405 kW and peak torque of 750 N·m. Despite its weight exceeding 2.6 tons, it still manages to deliver a 0-100 km/h acceleration in around 5 seconds. Both versions support 140kW fast charging, allowing for a quick 100km range top-up in just 10 minutes.
