Last July, OPPO held a new product launch event and officially unveiled the brand new OPPO K11 smartphone, with a starting price of 1799 yuan.
Now, as time progresses, news about the OPPO K12 smartphone is gradually emerging.
Digital blogger @DigitalChatStation mentioned in today's leak that the OPPO K12 is scheduled to be released next week, with the internal codename "Pikachu". It will feature a built-in 5500mAh battery and support 100W fast charging. The charging and battery life experience is said to be top-notch in this price range, and there might be a collaboration with "a thunderbolt character".
Combining with the blogger's illustration, the OPPO K12 comes in a green color variant, featuring a back design similar to the OnePlus Ace 3V. The rear camera module adopts an oval-shaped design, with lenses and a circular flash component arranged vertically within the module.
Digital blogger @DigitalChatStation previously leaked the configuration information of the OPPO K12 international version.
The blogger stated that the overseas version of the OPPO K12 is equipped with a 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPS OLED display.
In terms of performance, the new device features a Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor, offering a storage combination of 12GB + 512GB.
Reportedly, the Snapdragon 7 Gen3, released in November last year, adopts the TSMC 4nm process. Its CPU architecture consists of 12.63 GHz + 32.4 GHz + 4*1.8 GHz, with an Adreno 720 GPU.
For imaging, the new device has a 16-megapixel front camera and a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel IMX882 main sensor and an 8-megapixel IMX355 lens.
For reference, the previous OPPO K11 featured a dual-ring design, offered in Glacier Blue and Moon Shadow Grey colors, with a weight of 184 grams and a thickness of 8.23 millimeters.
In terms of display, the OPPO K11 features a 6.7-inch 120Hz high-refresh-rate ultra-clear flat screen with a resolution of 2412×1080, supporting 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
For performance, the OPPO K11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor, coupled with up to 12+512GB of storage combination. It integrates the self-developed ColorOS Super Calculation Platform and achieves smooth certification for 48 months by Nande.
In terms of imaging, the OPPO K11 boasts a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, and a rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel IMX890 main camera, an 8-megapixel 112° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel 4cm macro lens. It supports 4K 30fps ultra-clear video shooting, paired with OIS and EIS dual anti-shake for videos.
In terms of fast charging, the OPPO K11 features a built-in 5000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, capable of charging the battery from 1% to 100% in as fast as 26 minutes.
On other fronts, the OPPO K11 runs on the ColorOS 13.1 system and supports multifunctional NFC, infrared remote control, cloud service for sharing albums, and more.
In comparison, the OPPO K12 is expected to bring upgrades in performance, battery life, and other aspects. Interested individuals should keep an eye out for updates.
Apart from the new OPPO K series devices, there have also been emerging reports about the OPPO Reno12 series.
According to recent leaks from digital blogger @数码闲聊站, the R12 series is said to feature equal-width micro-curved screens, with two screen specifications: 1080p and 1.5K. The 1.5K high-end screen boasts even slimmer bezels. Additionally, there's mention of enriched screen forms, indicating that each iteration of the new devices will have its own unique display setup.
According to the leaks, all models of the OPPO Reno12 series will feature a curved screen with a 1080p/1.5K resolution.
The blogger also revealed in the comments section that neither the OPPO Reno12 nor the OPPO Reno12 Pro will come with a periscope camera.
The blogger's latest revelation suggests that OPPO live photos are already in internal testing, with the possibility of being pre-installed on the upcoming OPPO Reno12 series smartphones.
The OPPO Reno12 series is expected to arrive around June.
