OPPO Find N5 Exposed for the First Time: World's First Snapdragon 8 Gen4 Foldable Screen

On May 25th, it was reported by the media that OPPO's next-generation foldable screen Find N5 is currently in testing. This time, the Find N5 skips the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform and directly debuts with the Snapdragon 8 Gen4, making it the industry's first Snapdragon 8 Gen4 foldable flagship.

It is reported that in addition to debuting with the Snapdragon 8 Gen4, the Find N5 also upgrades to the Zero-crease Hinge, which offers a flatness comparable to traditional flat phones, being not only lighter but also more durable.

Compared to traditional hinge solutions, OPPO's Zero-crease Hinge has a larger bending radius, dispersing screen bending and creep over a larger range, resulting in smaller plastic deformation and thus smaller creases.

Its principle is similar to folding paper; the smaller the radius at the fold, the deeper the crease. Therefore, the Zero-crease Hinge of the Find N5 increases the bending radius to reduce screen creases, achieving top-tier industry standards.

More importantly, while achieving an extremely thin design, the Find N5 retains the periscope telephoto lens. The new product is set to debut in Q1 of 2025, making it the most powerful foldable screen flagship in the industry. s_15bf4ae045d14cabb0cc9794728989a8.jpg
