In a groundbreaking announcement, OPPO revealed today that its latest innovation, the OPPO A3 Pro, is set to debut on April 12th at 14:30.

Mr. Liu Bo of OPPO took to social media to proclaim that the A3 Pro marks a historic milestone as the world's first smartphone to achieve "full-level waterproofing." s_f2e2213f4e024c979d093939603234a8.jpg Based on previous leaks, the OPPO A3 Pro is expected to support IP69 dust and water resistance, surpassing the previous standard of IP68 found in most smartphones.

In the IPXX rating, the last two digits are crucial. The first 'X' indicates the dust resistance level, ranging from 0 to 6, with 6 being the highest level. The second 'X' denotes the water resistance level. Previously, the highest level for water resistance in smartphones was 8, but now, a superior level of 9 has emerged. s_d23b1ee9f4d44b1da450be51cd562479.png The IPX9 waterproof rating allows devices to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water or steam rinsing. Specifically, it means the device can remain fully functional even under a water flow of up to 100 bar with a temperature of 80°C. This implies that devices supporting IP69 can provide significant protection even when used during showers, which was not achievable with the previous IP68 standard. In addition to IP69, the OPPO A3 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch curved screen, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. It will sport a classic circular triple camera setup on the back, with a body crafted from matte leather, positioned in the budget-friendly segment. s_9ca72ee7986343f38be9277766827d93.jpg
