Pulsestacks reported on April 12th that the OPPO A3 Pro was unveiled this afternoon. It is the first smartphone to meet the triple standards of IP69, IP68, and IP66 for water resistance. For purchases made before April 25th, customers will receive complimentary battery insurance (four years), screen insurance (one year), and water damage insurance (one year). The starting price is 1999 CNY.
Pulsestacks has learned that the OPPO A3 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and comes in three storage configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. It is available in three color options: Azure, Mountain Blue, and Cloud Pink.
The OPPO A3 Pro boasts of being "360° Drop Resistant," featuring Corning Gorilla Glass Victus® 2, the same glass used in flagship models, providing a 180% increase in screen protection compared to other devices in its class. Additionally, its back cover utilizes OPPO's pioneering Crystal Shield Glass, enhancing drop resistance by 160% compared to similar smartphones.
Equipped with a "Super Drop-Resistant Diamond Architecture," this new device can withstand drops of up to 1.8 meters, making it the "first smartphone to receive the Swiss SGS Gold Standard Five-Star Whole Machine Drop Resistance Certification." It has also passed military-grade shock resistance tests.
The OPPO A3 Pro features an ultra-thin dual-curved design, measuring just 7.53mm at its thinnest point and a width of only 74.3mm. It boasts a new generation of large-volume speakers, offering "triple the volume," and a 5000mAh "four-year durable battery" with 67W super flash charging.
The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED curved screen with a resolution of 2412×1080. It supports a peak brightness of up to 950nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In terms of imaging, the OPPO A3 Pro features a 64-megapixel main camera with an aperture of f/1.7, a 81° field of view, and a 6P lens. It supports autofocus and utilizes an open-loop focusing motor but does not support OIS. Additionally, it has a 2-megapixel portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.4, a 89° field of view, and a 3P lens with fixed focus.
