On April 8th, digital blogger Digichat Station revealed that the OnePlus Ace 3V is equipped with dual-frequency GPS and triple-frequency BeiDou, making it a unique standout among its competitors.
However, some netizens criticized Li Jie, stating that OnePlus lacks effective marketing strategies. They pointed out that although dual-frequency GPS is a crucial selling point, OnePlus chose not to mention it during the official launch event but relied on Digichat Station to unveil it.
In response, Li Jie acknowledged the criticism, stating, "We accept the feedback and will make improvements accordingly."
It is reported that the OnePlus Ace 3V supports triple-frequency BeiDou (B1I+B1C+B2a) and dual-frequency GPS (L1+L5) positioning.
Typically, single-frequency GPS phones can only receive signals transmitted on the L1 frequency band, while dual-frequency GPS phones can receive signals on both the L1 and L5 frequency bands.
This means that dual-frequency GPS can enhance the accuracy of navigation positioning. Compared to phones that only use the L1 frequency band for positioning, the accuracy is improved by 100%. Therefore, dual-frequency GPS has a clear advantage.
Currently, the OnePlus Ace 3V has been launched and is available for sale on major platforms, with a starting price of 1999 CNY (12GB+256GB).
