Recently, during AMD's earnings call, Su Zifeng mentioned, "The demand for MI300 continues to grow, and we expect data center GPU revenue to exceed $4 billion by 2024, surpassing our January guidance of $3.5 billion."

"There is no limit above $4 billion, and we have the capability to exceed this figure in terms of supply. In the second quarter, our demand is indeed greater than the current supply, and we are continuing to work on boosting some supply," Su Zifeng stated.

While AMD is optimistic about its GPU sales, the comparison with Nvidia is hardly worth mentioning.

According to analysts' forecasts, Nvidia's GPU sales this year are expected to exceed $40 billion, at least ten times more than AMD.

Apart from AMD, Intel also aims to make a mark in the GPU market, but for now, these two companies are not expected to pose any substantial threat to Nvidia. s_8a06bd267b0d410abf10fd8c53e9ad93.jpg Huang Renxun had previously warned: "NVIDIA expects the supply of next-generation GPU products to be very tight, as demand far exceeds supply capacity."
