Following Xu Jing's resignation, Zhou Hongyi, the founder of 360 Group, released a video discussing the matter. Zhou Hongyi mentioned that he doesn't know much about the details of the situation and it's not convenient for him to comment on it.
He believes that for businesses to build their intellectual property, focusing on short videos is definitely the right direction. Encountering setbacks and making mistakes along the way are all part of the learning process and are inevitable.
Zhou Hongyi openly admitted that before he started making short videos, he spent a lot of time watching tutorials on Douyin and learning from top influencers on how beginners can start an account and create short videos.
However, he believes that most of these methods are more suitable for amateurs and not for entrepreneurs and companies. Following some of the methods taught on Douyin might lead to counterproductive results, as they could be a case of using outdated strategies or missing the mark entirely.
It is reported that on May 1st, Xu Jing posted her first Douyin video, followed by four more within a short period of time, quickly becoming a hot topic and then clearing her account on the 7th.
Her Douyin videos mainly revolved around topics concerning women in the workplace, including workplace rules, emotional needs, and family responsibilities, touching on sensitive issues.
Some of Xu Jing's statements in the videos, such as "I approve resignation instantly if an employee breaks up" and "Why should we consider employees' families," have sparked public attention.
The videos previously posted by Xu Jing on Douyin have all been hidden.
