During a group interview after the Zhiji L6 launch event, CEO of Zhiji Auto, Liu Tao, expressed that purchasing low-end models from BBA (BMW, Benz, Audi) offers limited product capability.
Liu Tao illustrated this point by referencing a 10-second video made by a media teacher, in which the teacher counted seven logos on a low-end BMW 3 Series sedan, suggesting that buying a low-end BMW 3 Series is essentially buying these seven logos.
Furthermore, when discussing competitors, Liu Tao mentioned that currently, Tesla and BBA's 34C models occupy nearly 100,000 units of the market for sedans priced above 200,000 CNY per month. Meanwhile, the Zhiji L6 aims to be a high-end alternative to Tesla Model 3 and an intelligent upgrade to the 34C.
It is reported that the Zhiji L6 offers three models, with pre-sale prices ranging from 230,000 to 330,000 CNY. The entire lineup comes standard with laser radar, the "Lingxi" digital chassis, NVIDIA Orin X+ Qualcomm 8295 chip, and the industry's first "quasi-900V ultra-fast charging solid-state battery."
Moreover, the Zhiji L6 is equipped with the "Lingxi" digital chassis, claimed to be the first domestically-produced car capable of "crab walking." Coupled with rear-wheel steering and other technologies, the minimum turning radius is only 4.99 meters, offering agility comparable to the Volkswagen Polo.
