The starting price for the Model 3 rear-wheel-drive version was initially 245,900 yuan, now adjusted to 231,900 yuan. As for the Model 3 Long Range all-wheel-drive version, it was priced at 285,900 yuan, now lowered to 271,900 yuan.
The Model Y rear-wheel-drive version is now priced at 249,900 yuan, while the Long Range version sees a reduction to 290,900 yuan, and the Performance version drops to 354,900 yuan.
Tao Lin also mentioned that the Model 3 had the lowest complaint rate among all sedans in the first quarter.
After this round of price reductions, the starting price of the Model 3 rear-wheel-drive version is now lower than that of the Xiaomi SU7 Pro (CNY 245,900), but still CNY 16,000 more expensive than the standard version of the Xiaomi SU7.

According to the "2024 First Quarter Popular Sedan Complaints-to-Sales Ratio Ranking" released by Chezhi.com, the average sales volume of domestic sedans in the first quarter was 10,853 units (with an average monthly sales volume of about 3,618 units). Among the 202 models, a total of 62 models had sales exceeding this average, becoming popular sedans in the first quarter.
Fifty models performed better than the 97.7 per 10,000 complaints-to-sales ratio average of domestic sedan sales in the first quarter, demonstrating a good reputation foundation among domestically popular sedans, with product quality stability performing better than other domestic sedan models.
Among them, the Tesla Model 3 and the Hongqi E-QM5 tied for first place, with a complaints-to-sales ratio of only 5.3 per 10,000, far below the average.
