Thermal efficiency is an important indicator for measuring the fuel utilization efficiency of internal combustion engines. The higher the thermal efficiency, the less fuel consumption.

It is understood that according to the current calculation of China's diesel engine inventory, compared with the average thermal efficiency level of 45% to 46%, a 53% thermal efficiency diesel engine can improve economy by about 14%, saving about 31 million tons of fuel and reducing carbon emissions by 97 million tons annually.

It is reported that the World Internal Combustion Engine Conference was initiated by the Chinese Internal Combustion Engine Society in 2018 and is a comprehensive technical exchange event in the internal combustion engine industry participated by countries, regions, and organizations worldwide.
