Departing from the Suining Station on the second largest channel of China's "West Coal East Transportation" route, the Shuohuang Railway, the freight train successfully reached the Huanghua Port Station.

The train, pulled by four "Guoneng Hao" eight-axle electric locomotives jointly developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. and the State Energy Group, boasts a total power of 38,400 kilowatts.

Comprising 324 carriages, the train spans a length of 4,088 meters and weighs in at 32,400 tons, making it the longest and heaviest freight train formation in China's railway history.

According to reports, this trial operation of the 30,000-ton heavy-duty train adopts advanced technologies such as the new wireless broadband communication system LTE-R, traction network control, air braking, and wireless synchronous control.

This marks a breakthrough in the application of fully autonomous technology in the domain of high-power AC electric locomotives and heavy-duty freight vehicles, enhancing China's coal transportation capacity and exploring the forefront of heavy-duty technology. s_e53573acbc1b4f7bbad2a3d42ed9455c.jpg
