At Xiaomi's automotive technology conference on December 28th last year, CEO Lei Jun unveiled the Xiaomi Super Motor V8s, boasting a staggering 27,200 rpm, set to be the pinnacle of global motor speeds and the world's top-tier motor.
The industry-first 960MPa special silicon steel sheet, fully self-developed fixed rotor design, bidirectional full oil cooling, S-shaped three-dimensional oil circuit design, 54-slot 6-pole design, 8-layer Hairpin flat wire winding, slot filling rate of 77%, with 155 patent applications and 60 patents granted.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Super Motor V8s boasts a maximum power of 425kW, 578ps maximum horsepower, and peak torque of 635N·m. A blogger conducted real-world tests on the Xiaomi SU7 engineering prototype equipped with this motor, reaching a top speed of 311 kilometers per hour, comparable to high-speed trains, easily outperforming many million-dollar performance cars.
So the Xiaomi SU7 equipped with this motor might be named SU7 Ultra and could be priced around 350,000 yuan. Considering its powerful performance, it's definitely something to look forward to.
