During the livestream, Yin Tongyue revealed Chery's sales target in the new energy track for this year.

Chery plans to introduce approximately 24 super hybrid and 15 high-end pure electric new products within the next 20 months, essentially achieving comprehensive electrification.

Chery aims to return to the top three in the new energy sector no later than June this year and hopes to surpass BYD and become the second in new energy by the end of the year.

Yin Tongyue further stated that by the end of this year, he wants to see the first place, "to see the back of Wang Chuanfu."

According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first quarter of this year, BYD's new energy sales were 626,300 units, while Chery's were 5.29604 million units, but new energy vehicles accounted for only 60,133 units, still putting significant pressure on catching up with BYD.

However, Yin Tongyue stated that Chery is pursuing a multi-technology approach, and the overseas new energy market is on the rise. Currently, Chery's overseas monthly new energy sales are around six to seven thousand units, and it is expected to reach around 15,000 units by the end of the year.

Moreover, both the Chery ICAR 03 and the Chery Arrizo S7 have performed quite well in the domestic market, so Chery remains confident in its future market performance. s_8bbb01e411f44ce0be3aa29cf942775c.png
