For every three passenger cars exported from China, one is a Chery; and for every five passenger and commercial vehicles exported from China, one is a Chery.
Yin Tongyue also stated that previously, export departments had asked him why Chery's export performance was so outstanding.
Yin Tongyue said that Chery's strong export performance is mainly due to Chery's cars being more open and innovative. Compared to overseas brands, they have a stronger market competitiveness.
Yin Tongyue explained that foreign car models are very conventional, usually with fixed changes every few years. However, Chinese car companies like Chery focus more on efficiency, constantly introducing new models, innovative technologies, and high configurations. This comprehensive approach puts them ahead of overseas brands.
There was once a complaint from a foreign automotive industry insider, saying, "Your Chinese cars are breaking the rules. You shouldn't put such good configurations on low-end cars. These configurations are meant for a minority of users."
But later market sales proved that Chinese car companies were right. In terms of technological innovation and market competitiveness, they are now leading the global automotive market development.
Furthermore, Yin Tongyue also revealed that the Xingjinyuan ET in the European market, with its smart cabin and intelligent driving features, is a top-notch model.
Although export prices are influenced by high tariffs and agency fees, the Xingjinyuan ET can sell for around 1 million CNY in the Middle East market, the Xingjinyuan ES for around 700,000 CNY, and the Langyue for about 600,000 CNY. These prices are several times higher than their domestic prices.
