Subsequently, Lei Jun initiated a poll on Weibo asking users whether they support having original phone holders in cars, stating in the comments that mutual exchange among peers helps improve product quality.

Yu Chengdong responded again on his WeChat Moments, stating that domestic smart electric vehicle navigation systems (using Gaode or Baidu Maps) would not have any issues.

"Xiaomi originates from making smartphones, so there should be no problem with in-car navigation! The real issue lies with some international smart electric vehicle brands and traditional fuel-powered cars," Yu Chengdong remarked.

He also revealed that during a video shoot with automotive critic Wu Pei, they encountered an owner of a popular American electric car brand who was using a phone holder and phone navigation to charge his vehicle. Wu Pei commented that it's a shame that smart electric vehicles still rely on phone holders.

Later, Yu Chengdong spoke to several users of this brand of car, who reported that they used phone navigation because the in-car navigation system was not user-friendly.

In conclusion, Yu Chengdong expressed, "I hope everyone does not misunderstand. With Xiaomi's involvement, we aim to bring more vitality to the automotive industry. Let's work together, and believe that tomorrow's Chinese smart electric vehicles will be even better." s_6da7e77f49ae4ce780ad440035952587.jpg
