By 2030, the group aims to offer no fewer than 30 pure electric vehicle models. "Our goal is clear: to maintain our position as the top international carmaker in China and to play a leading role in the era of intelligent connected vehicles," added Zhang Lan.
During the expo, Volkswagen Group (China) showcased 13 heavyweight models from its subsidiaries including Volkswagen Imported Cars, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Ducati, and Lamborghini brands.
These included the Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TSI R-Line, the Audi e-tron GT flagship luxury electric vehicle, the Bentley Flying Spur Yado Edition V8, the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica supercar, and the Ducati Panigale V4 S and Multistrada V4 S motorcycles.
