On April 17th, it was announced that this year's May Day holiday, which has been adjusted, will consist of a total of 5 days off, from May 1st to May 5th.

Today, tickets for the May Day holiday trains went on sale on the 12306 railway ticketing system, with tickets for May 1st being available for purchase on the same day.

According to reports from CCTV News, in response to the online feedback about some train tickets for the May Day holiday selling out rapidly, a spokesperson for the China Railway Group suggested that passengers consider traveling during off-peak periods and in different directions, as well as exploring options such as waiting for standby tickets or transferring trains, to increase the chances of successfully purchasing tickets. Additionally, more trains will be added on popular routes to accommodate the high demand. s_9477686be2ef4d6bb78caf3dfc0f97bc.jpg During the May Day holiday, the railway department will dynamically optimize and adjust train operation plans based on presale and standby ticket data from the railway's official website, 12306.
