On March 30th, according to the official microblog of "Hangzhou Railway Station," at around 10:24 a.m. this morning, a passenger suddenly jumped onto the tracks at Platform 15 of Hangzhou East Station, ran along the tracks to the end of the platform, and then crossed the tracks to move in the direction of other tracks.

Upon noticing the situation, the approaching Train G7796 immediately initiated emergency braking measures, resulting in a minor collision with the passenger due to the close proximity.

Station staff promptly notified the 120 Emergency Center and the injured passenger was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Train G7796 resumed operation at 11:47 a.m. Currently, railway police are investigating the incident. s_d0762a0df790466a8d56d82cc3ca9be8.jpg According to firsthand accounts from netizens, the station responded very swiftly, with trains running normally again within just over ten minutes.

Some users suggested learning from stations like Zhengzhou East by installing platform screen doors. These doors could greatly reduce the occurrence of such incidents by opening only after the train has arrived at the platform, thus ensuring safety.

Furthermore, it's important to remind everyone, whether on high-speed trains, regular express trains, or subways, to always stand at a safe distance from the platform edge when the train arrives, following regulations to prevent accidents. s_d18cc49124214445b4029bd6e147acdc.jpg
