According to reports from multiple domestic media outlets on April 13th, 2024, the Labor Day holiday will be from May 1st to May 5th, a total of 5 days off. The working days will be April 28th (Sunday) and May 11th (Saturday).

Following closely, the Dragon Boat Festival holiday will be from June 8th to June 10th, with June 10th (Monday) being the actual festival day. Since it falls on a weekend, there will be a continuous 3-day holiday for the Dragon Boat Festival this year, without the need for any work schedule adjustments.

Opinions on work schedule adjustments vary among netizens, with both supporters and dissenters expressing their views. s_ac049f893b244e7196a84914233a5f94.jpg Supporters argue that flexitime allows for longer holidays, giving people more time to rest, travel, or engage in other activities, thereby helping to alleviate work stress and increase overall life satisfaction.

Opponents, however, argue that during long holidays, there are traffic congestions, crowded places, and sometimes even work obligations, so it's better to just take a couple of days off and explore nearby areas.

Experts point out that flexitime is an effective policy arrangement made to avoid the "fragmentation" of fixed holidays. In 2024, flexitime arrangements resulted in a "9573" holiday schedule, demonstrating a strong sense of humanity and flexibility. s_3bdd0490c7424f49af7215a83d847099.jpg
