March 20th news, Noctua has released the NH-D12L chromax.black air cooler, further expanding their product line.
Reportedly, the new cooler uses a dual-tower design, measuring 145mm x 125mm x 113mm and weighing 890g. It is suitable for 4U cases with higher clearances and slim tower cases that can only accommodate 92mm fans.
The Noctua NH-D12L chromax.black air cooler is a clever design. It uses a 120mm fan with a 92mm fan mount, which lets it keep the 120mm fan's blade size while shrinking its footprint. So, it's smaller than your average 120mm cooler.
The cooler also uses SSO2 bearings and spins between 450 and 2000 RPM ±10%. With the included Low-Noise Adapter, the maximum speed drops to 1700 RPM. It pushes up to 102.1 m³/h of air, which drops to 84.5 m³/h with the LNA. At full tilt, it's rated for 22.6 dBA.
The Noctua NH-D12L chromax.black air cooler is priced at $99.90.
