No One Can Outdo BYD and CATL! Chairman of EVE Energy: We Don't Even Qualify for "Inner Tumult"

On March 17th, during the China Electric Vehicle Summit, Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE Energy in Huizhou, expressed that in the field of power batteries, we don't even qualify for the "inner tumult", as no one can outdo BYD and CATL.

Liu Jincheng pointed out that in the realm of power batteries, the dominance of the top two players is very apparent. Apart from market share, what's more important for CATL and BYD is that they are profitable. Other companies have their own strengths, but they also face their own difficulties.

According to Liu Jincheng, inner tumult within the power battery industry leads nowhere:

"Inner tumult is quite popular, but the characteristic of our industry is that you want to compete, but you don't have the qualifications, you can't compete. With the top two players ahead, who can compete with BYD, who can compete with CATL? How can you compete?" Liu Jincheng remarked.

Therefore, in such a context, I believe we should return to the most essential and fundamental capabilities of this industry, which is to enhance technological and quality standards. "We must prioritize technological iteration, as this is crucial," emphasized Liu Jincheng.

When discussing his own company, Liu Jincheng stated that lithium metal batteries are EVE Energy's foundation, and this year is the year for product quality improvement at EVE Energy.

"We won't talk about other gimmicks. My personal focus is entirely on matters related to quality. I won't delve much into the value of details," said Liu Jincheng. e76be5d2-e25f-4a32-b88c-117190e463e3.png
