In a notice dated April 3rd, it has come to light that Nissan, in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and its implementation measures, has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation.

Starting from April 4th, 2024, Nissan's new X-Trail and Qashqai vehicles will undergo a recall, totaling 25,715 units, due to potential welding defects in the triangle arms. ba6fd8ab-3a05-4cc7-815a-661c95c44517.png Specifically, the recall encompasses a total of 24,722 units of the 2021 model year Nissan X-Trail manufactured between October 20, 2021, and December 1, 2021. f54d5663-f6a9-40d1-abca-7c44a9c3c9b9.png Between October 27, 2021, and December 23, 2021, a total of 993 units of the 2021 model of the Nissan Qashqai manufactured during that period are being recalled. The reason behind this recall is a potential issue with the welding position of the right front suspension arm, which may lack sufficient strength due to manufacturing reasons. In extreme cases, the welding position of the right front suspension arm may crack under external impact, leading to sudden deviation of the vehicle and posing a potential safety hazard.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation Limited will conduct inspections on the production batch numbers of the right front suspension arms for vehicles within the recall scope. They will then proceed to replace the affected batches free of charge to eliminate any safety concerns.
