On April 18, the next-generation coherent optical quantum computer, boasting 550 computational qubits, known as "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" along with core research achievements such as the Kaiwu SDK, was unveiled in Beijing. Developed by Boson Quantum, the "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" achieves, for the first time in China, the solution to the Max-Cut problem through 550 fully connected programmable nodes of coherent optical quantum computation. It conducts parallel searches within vast solution spaces in milliseconds, delivering optimized solutions and achieving tens of thousands of times acceleration compared to classical computation in practical applications. With a 99% probability, it attains the optimal solution 99% of the time. 6620fbf8e4b03b5da6d0d167.jpg Field photographed by Tian Ruiying

Yang Hongfu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Chaoyang Park Management Committee (District Science and Information Bureau), stated that Bose Quantum represents an excellent entrepreneurial team emerging in the proactive layout of future industries in Chaoyang District. Over the past three years, starting from scratch, they have built a high-level team and laboratory, and have now become a representative enterprise in the field of quantum information in Chaoyang District and even Beijing.

Wen Kai, founder and CEO of Bose Quantum, stated that "Quantum Computing + AI" is the starting point for practical quantum computing. Entering the era of quantum AI, the combination of foundational computing power represented by the new generation coherent optical quantum computer "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" with 550 computational qubits, development kits represented by "Open物SDK," and "Quantum Algorithms" jointly researched with partners from various industries will become the three pillars for continuously breaking the boundaries of practical quantum computing and changing the future.

According to Wei Hai, CTO of Bose Quantum, "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" can solve mathematical problems with up to 550 variables, with a coupled link scale of 150,975, which is 28 times that of "Tiangong Quantum Brain 100." The self-developed "Open物SDK" development kit achieves automation in three aspects: QUBO model conversion, automatic parameter tuning, and real-machine simulation, allowing programming and solving without the need to access the actual machine.

It is understood that the combination of "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" and "Open物SDK" can achieve automatic cost reduction, adaptive constraints, and automatic decomposition, efficiently helping users simplify high-order models into QUBO models for more efficient computation; balancing accuracy and speed; automatically decomposing large-scale problems into a collection of small-scale problems to achieve practical solutions for large-scale computing tasks in the NISQ era of quantum computing.

Ma Yin, co-founder and COO of Bose Quantum, stated that through Open物SDK, the threshold for developers can be greatly reduced. Whether they are from universities, enterprises, individual developers, or other users, they do not need to learn the principles of quantum physics to understand the methods and capabilities of quantum computing at a pure mathematical level, develop quantum algorithms adapted to their respective fields, and complete data verification on quantum computers.

At the press conference, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), Mobile Cloud, and Bose Quantum reached cooperation agreements to jointly create a batch of influential practical demonstration projects in quantum computing. This aims to accelerate the integration of quantum computing with real scenarios of new productivity such as image recognition, combinatorial optimization, artificial intelligence, and quantum simulation.
