Although the launch is almost a month away, information about the Pixel 8a is already pouring in from all directions. The latest leak offers a glimpse into the four color options of the Pixel 8a.
The Google Pixel 8a is said to come in four colors: Onyx, Mint, Porcelain, and Bay. These are hues we've seen before on previous Pixel models. However, recent leaked images of the Pixel 8a reveal that the device will feature Onyx, which is essentially black, both on the front and back.
In the leaked renders showcasing the four color options of the Pixel 8a, the device's appearance remains consistent with previous leaks. It features rounded edges around the front frame, with a prominent chin. The front camera is housed within a punch hole, while the rear camera sits within the familiar camera bump on the back.
It's rumored that the Google Pixel 8a will feature the Tensor G3 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM, and offering 128/256GB of onboard storage. Speculations suggest the phone will come with a 6.1-inch 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 1400 nits. Additionally, there are rumors that Google might increase the price of the Pixel 8a, making it slightly higher than last year's Pixel 7a.
Considering the Pixel 6a and 7a were unveiled at the Google I/O conference in 2022 and 2023 respectively, it's highly likely that we'll see the Pixel 8a at this year's Google I/O event in May.
