According to the declaration images, the exterior of the new Passat has undergone significant changes. According to the filing information, the new car's body length has increased by 58mm, reaching 5006mm; the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2871mm.

In terms of powertrain options, the new car offers a choice between 1.5T and 2.0T engines. The 1.5T engine has a maximum output power of 118 kilowatts, while the 2.0T engine has a maximum output power of 162 kilowatts.
