On May 26th, Hikvision's latest private cloud storage device, the R1, has been listed on e-commerce platforms for pre-sale, starting at 1799 yuan, with final payments due by the evening of May 31st.
The R1 is designed with a four-drive bay architecture, offering multiple configuration options, including 8GB RAM + No Drive version, 8GB RAM + 1TB SSD version, 16GB RAM + No Drive version, and 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD version, priced at 1799 yuan, 2399 yuan, 1999 yuan, and 2599 yuan respectively.
The new R1 model is equipped with a 2.86-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 960*376. It supports 300 nits brightness, 360 PPI, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It can display various themes and device statuses, and comes with controllable RGB ambient lighting.
In addition, the device is equipped with in-house developed eMMC, DDR5 memory modules, and 3D NAND NAS-specific SSD, offering 2 2.5G Ethernet ports, HDMI interface, 1 USB 3.2 Gen2 TypeC, 3 USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps TypeA interfaces, as well as dual M.2 PCIe 3.0 slots.
The storage capacity of Hikvision R1 can reach 96TB, running on Hikvision Smart Storage OS. It supports Docker deployment, providing backup services for video surveillance, mobile albums, WeChat files, personal computers, and cloud storage. It also features advanced functions such as intelligent image search, one-click screen mirroring, variable speed playback, and online transcoding.
