On May 26th, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, mentioned at the 8th Viva Technology conference in Europe that, "In the future, nobody needs to work, and even if they do, it will be out of passion."

When asked by an audience member about jobs being replaced by AI, Musk responded that in a positive scenario, none of us may have jobs. However, in such a case, there would be widespread high income instead of universal basic income.

He predicted a situation where there would be no shortage of goods or services, with an 80% likelihood, allowing everyone to access the products and services they desire.

According to Musk, any work done by anyone will be optional. If you consider work as a hobby, go ahead and pursue it. Otherwise, AI and robots will provide you with any goods and services you need.

"In the future, nobody needs to work, and even if they do, it will be out of passion," the host summarized.

"I think that's the most likely outcome," Musk concluded. s_db3cea18f3d4446a9e4110e72dc5996a.jpg
