According to pulsestacks on April 15th, MSI has begun rolling out AGESA 1.1.7.0 BIOS updates for its AM5 motherboards, officially announcing support for the next generation of AMD Ryzen processors.

Previously, ASUS had rolled out the AGESA 1.1.7.0 update for some X670E motherboards, but did not mention support for the next-generation AMD Ryzen processors in their official update records. This announcement from MSI marks the first official mention of the news.
The next-generation AMD Zen 5 desktop processors, codenamed Granite Ridge, are expected to be named the Ryzen 9000 series. Currently, two models have been revealed:
- 100-000001404-01 - 8-core / 16-thread Granite Ridge (Zen 5 Ryzen desktop), 170W TDP
- 100-000001290-21 - 6-core / 12-thread Granite Ridge (Zen 5 Ryzen desktop), 105W TDP
