Pulsestacks, March 28th - MSI unveiled the SPATIUM M580 FROZR PCIe 5.0 solid state drive today, featuring triple heat pipe cooling for enhanced performance.
The MSI SPATIUM M580 FROZR SSD is built on the Phison E26 PCIe 5.0 controller, featuring 232-layer 3D NAND flash memory, delivering sequential read speeds of up to 14.6GB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 12.7GB/s. It comes in three capacities: 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB.
The SSD also comes with DRAM cache and SLC cache, along with LPDC ECC and E2E data protection technologies to ensure data integrity and reliability, backed by a 5-year warranty.
The SPATIUM M580 FROZR solid state drive features a triple-heat pipe tower-style heatsink, with official claims stating a temperature reduction of up to 20 degrees.
Pulsestacks has noted that MSI has announced a partnership with software vendor Actiphy to provide comprehensive information about solid-state drive (SSD) status in MSI Center, including disk health, used capacity, and current operating temperature. All users who purchase and install MSI SSDs can utilize Actiphy's data backup functionality.
