Pulsestacks, April 22 - MSI has announced the following BIOS and GPU driver updates for the Claw handheld gaming console:
MSI claims that the performance of games like "PUBG 2," "Diablo IV," and many others has been enhanced, with the biggest boost seen in the racing game "F1 23," where frame rates have surged by up to 43.5% compared to previous levels.
Pulsestacks previously reported that the Intel Arc discrete graphics card's public version 31.0.101.5382 WHQL driver was released at the end of last month, marking the latest WHQL version. This driver addresses issues such as extended loading times in "Horizon: Forbidden West" and potential game crashes in "Stellaris" when using high or ultimate graphics settings. The non-WHQL driver version has since been updated to 31.0.101.5444.
The MSI Claw handheld gaming console features Intel Core Ultra 5 125H / Ultra 7 155H processors and 16GB of LPDDR5x memory. It sports a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz touchscreen, Hall effect triggers and joysticks, and a 53Whr battery. Prices start at ¥4999.
