Motorola Teams Up with Bose to Launch New Earbuds Priced at $130

Motorola's new wooden Edge phone isn't the only thing unveiled today. The company has also introduced two pairs of earbuds: the high-end offering named Moto Buds Plus, priced at $129.99, while the more basic model, Moto Buds, is available only in select markets. The Plus variant is particularly intriguing as Motorola has opted to collaborate with Bose this time around to provide these earbuds with equalizer tuning and active noise cancellation, with the portable case featuring a "Sound by Bose" logo. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0417%2F29e4c83dj00sc1zex000ld000hs00hsg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg The depth of collaboration between the two parties isn't detailed extensively, but Motorola's online store page states that the Moto Buds Plus are "certified by Bose to deliver an unprecedented audio experience." Bose spokesperson Joanne Berthiaume told me, "We've been closely collaborating with Motorola's engineering team to ensure they deliver high-quality audio and ANC experience for the category and price range they're in."

Priced at $130, these earbuds shouldn't be expected to match the performance of Bose's own QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which retail for $170 more. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0417%2F561cd4f9j00sc1zex000fd000hs00bvg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg But that doesn't mean the Moto Buds Plus skimps on features: it also supports wireless charging, Dolby Head Tracking (when used with Motorola phones and supported content), multi-device pairing, and boasts a "water-resistant design". It even offers a transparency mode to cater to different noise-canceling needs.

While these are fairly common features, at least you're getting a lot for your money. The earbuds have a rated battery life of up to 8 hours, with a total battery life of 38 hours including charging from the case.
