On May 3rd, Volkswagen recently released official images of the new ID.3 Pro S, with the new car maintaining its original design in appearance, with major upgrades focused on the entertainment system and power performance.
The dimensions of the new ID.3 Pro S remain unchanged at 4261/1778/1568 millimeters, with a wheelbase of 2765 millimeters, positioning it as a compact car.
In terms of configuration, it offers a choice of 18-inch and 20-inch wheels, with all models coming standard with LED headlights that feature automatic high beams and delayed-off function.
In terms of interior design, the new car features the same 12.9-inch central touchscreen as the ID.7, supporting the IDA voice assistant and ChatGPT function. The HUD display has been optimized and it also supports optional installation of the Harman Kardon audio system.
Power is another highlight of the new ID.3 Pro S, with the maximum power of its rear-mounted single motor increased to 170 kilowatts, achieving 0-100 kilometers per hour acceleration in just 7.1 seconds.
In terms of range, the vehicle is equipped with a 77 kWh battery, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 559 kilometers, with the maximum charging power increased to 175 kilowatts.
It is worth mentioning that SAIC Volkswagen launched the ID.Care value preservation package service two weeks ago. Users who purchase the ID.3 before June 30th can choose the limited-time ID.Care value preservation package and enjoy a 60% repurchase value of the car price after three years.
Currently, there are five models of SAIC Volkswagen ID.3 available for sale, with an official price range of 162,888 to 192,888 yuan.
Using the base model as an example, it is estimated that after three years, you can expect a buyback value of around 97,700 RMB. However, SAIC Volkswagen has not clarified whether the price in the "price-value buyback" refers to the original manufacturer's suggested retail price.
