Wood materials give smartphones a natural and rustic feel. Although wooden smartphones have a distinctive appearance, due to their high cost and manufacturing complexity, the majority of smartphone manufacturers have abandoned wood materials and opted for more common and popular materials like glass or plastic.
Fortunately, Motorola has reintroduced wooden smartphones to the market, with the moto Edge 50 Ultra being launched overseas today.
In addition to the regular version, this phone also comes in a wooden variant, offering a warm texture and a unique feel, which significantly enhances its overall recognition.
In terms of key specifications, the moto Edge 50 Ultra features a 6.7-inch curved display with a resolution of 2712x1220 and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It boasts a 50-megapixel front camera and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 chip. The battery capacity is 4500mAh, supporting 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The phone will debut in Europe first, followed by launches in Asian, Latin American, and other markets, with a price tag of 999 euros, approximately 7700 Chinese yuan.
