Pulsestacks, April 24 - MOMA Mammoth unveiled its latest 4K dual-frequency video transmission products yesterday, comprising the Extreme Shadow H, Extreme Shadow S, and Extreme Shadow 7. These three new video transmission products form an efficient shooting and transmission ecosystem. The Extreme Shadow H is priced at 2299 yuan, the Extreme Shadow S at 3499 yuan, both of which are currently available for purchase. The Extreme Shadow 7 will be available for purchase in late May at a price of 3999 yuan.
The products Extreme H, Extreme S, and Extreme 7 can be paired in a one-to-four configuration for 4K transmission/monitoring. They support unicast mode (1TX+4RX), broadcast mode (1TX+1RX, 1TX+2RX, 1TX+1RX+2APP), meeting the need for simultaneous monitoring by multiple parties. They come with 9 preset groups for quick pairing of additional devices.
The Shadow Series features a new 4K decoding chip, with HDMI interface supporting lossless transmission, capable of receiving 4K30 video data to meet the demands of 4K video shooting and monitoring.
The Shadow Series adopts and optimizes a dual-band transmission scheme using 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. The 5GHz band is utilized for transmitting audio and video streams, while the 2.4GHz band ensures stable device connections. With the assistance of automatic frequency hopping technology, in the event of interference on a frequency point, it automatically switches to an interference-free frequency for transmission. This ensures stable transmission without dropouts or black screens when shooting in environments with multiple wireless devices.
In terms of transmission distance, in unicast mode, the range is 150m back-to-back and 400m face-to-face; in broadcast mode, the range is 100m back-to-back and 200m face-to-face. Regarding latency, in smooth mode, the bitrate is 4-10M with a minimum delay of 60ms; in high-quality mode, the bitrate is 8-12M with a minimum delay of 75ms.
The Gimbal 7 is made of magnesium alloy, reducing weight by one-third. It features a 7-inch 1200nit monitoring screen with a resolution of 1080P. Equipped with dual HDMI (4K30 input, 1080P60 output, loop out 4K30) and dual SDI (1080P60 input/output) interfaces, it supports DC power and NP-F battery power supply. It comes with dual NPF battery plates for quick battery replacement without power interruption.
